In 2006 I bought the previous model of the DP5610 which was called the DPJ61. The units appear identical, have the same specifications, and cost the same.
I use a Hustler in-line sander for fairing a sailboat. The Hustler is rated at 10-12 cfm at 90psi and my earlier compressor, equivalent to the model VT6275, was not up to the job.
My DPJ61 provides plenty of air hour after hour. This is while using 100'+ of 12 ID hose. It is also a reasonably quiet unit.
I am planning to paint the boat using an HVLP pressure feed spray gun and, at 17.6 cfm at 40psi, I've got plenty of power for the job.
