Q: Steve what accessories are available to use to blow out my sprinkler system and garden hoses before the winter sets in? by Matt Bezinski from New York on October 31, 2011
A: Depending on how powerful your air compressor is, you may need a regulator to turn the pressure down to meet the specifications of your sprinkler system so you don't rupture them.
There are a lot of different sprinkler systems out there, so check your system's Owner's Manual for the PSI they recommend and the best procedure for your particular system. Usually just an air hose with the quick connect adaptor is what's needed for the job.
Getting the excess water out of your garden hoses also depends on how long the hoses are. The blow gun will work fine for shorter lengths; you might have to hang the hoses and dry both ends after the middle drains out. by Steve, Product Expert
