Cigarette lighter inflators will not do a good job on large tires. They can provide enough air in a car tire to get you safely home, or to a service station with a high pressure pump.

For large tires we suggest an on-board DC compressor that is designed for larger applications- trucks, trailers, RVs, etc.

I also bought one of these over 10 years ago and it served our entire family very well. I had the unit that also included the light and gauge.

It's able to inflate car, truck , mower, wheelbarrow, and bike tires with ease. It often saved me a lot of trouble when out in the country and I would walk out and discover I had a flat tire.

Usually the highest PSI that I would require from the unit would be about 60 to 65 lbs., although it will produce higher pressures. It was still working well when it was stolen out of the trunk of my car along with some other tools.

I am currently looking in order to purchase the same unit again. My unit never failed or broke down under excessive use. I was delighted with its craftsmanship.

I bought the CH RP1200 a little over ten years ago and this inflator works great.

I have inflated balls and pool toys as well. I once inflated all the new balls at my daughters school and it performed well.

It has helped not only our Family, but it has helped many other motorists as well. This inflator will not stop working. It has to be one of the best investments I ever made.

The one I have is made in America which is probably why it works so great- people caring about quality.

I would recommend this inflator to anyone. If you need something to carry around with you for emergency use, buy this product. It stores easily out of the way and it is a good feeling knowing that you have an air supply available when needed, especially on long trips. It also saves a lot of quarters at the gas station.

There should be no excuse as to having low air pressure in your tires. This an excellent product and everyone should have one in their car or truck.
