Q: What is the scfm by Bob from Florida on November 07, 2011
A: This unit is just an inflator; it's small & inexpensive enough that it doesn't have an scfm rating.
It will top off car, bike, and ATV tires; and do a great job on sports balls, rafts, & pool toys.
It has no air tank to hold and regulate pressurized air.
You will start seeing units with scfm ratings when you step up into compressors with air tanks. The smallest are referred to as "pancake" or "hot dog" units.
I have had a car or small veh. compressor from your co. for years.
It has been a teriffic tool for my needs many times, and will continue to use it many more times if need be.
I give it an a plus.

Don't have to stand and watch
I am very pleased with this compressor, all I have to do is set the amount of pressure I want and turn it on. I don't have to stand watch.
The delivery time was excellant. Over all, very pleased with the product and Air Compressors Direct.
I will and have recommended to family and friends.

A great product
It works exactly as advertised. I have used it at least a dozen times on tires and my kids have used it.
I love the auto shut off feature.
Thanks for a great product.

Great for bicycles
A great little device to keep in your auto at all times.
I'm an avid cyclist and need to keep my tires inflated at the proper PMI rating, prior to my long rides--this is an easy and quick way to do so.
The long cord enables me to plug it in near the dashboard and out to the bicycle tire with no problems.
I especially like the "auto" setting so you do not need to worry about over inflating your tires.
It's a great investment, I highly recommend it!

Not what I assumed
I was expecting to be able to plug in the compressor and charge the battery for future use but I cannot charge it up and I can only use it through a car hook up which is not what I wanted.
I have another compressor that I purchased that does work like that but I did not see that when I ordered. The old one I have is one from Campbell Hausfeld.
ACD RESPONDS: The RP3200 unit is clearly described as a 12 volt unit: "Portability-Plugs into standard 12 volt cigarette outlet". We're sorry, but nowhere in the Features or Specs is there any mention of a battery system.
Our return policy is listed under the Customer Service button at the bottom of our web site; just click on "Returns" to see the details.
In the Inflator category we do have cordless, battery units from AirMan, Slime, and Wagan. To view them just go to the Quick Search box on the left side of the web site, select "Inflators" as the style, and click "Go".
The cordless models say Cordless in the title; just click on the title for more details.

This inflator is first class!
I can't believe what a GREAT product this is.
We originally bought the RP3200 because every gas station in our city now charges 75 cents for 3 minutes of air!!! That means you can manage two tires if you're really fast. Now that we have our own, we check the tires weekly or more (one tire has a slow leak and needs air every 2-3 days) This unit has paid for itself in the 5 months we've had it. From now on, the unit is basically free - at $1.50-$3.00 a week to do our tires, the money we saved sure built up quick
Thank heavens I had it the other night when I came out f work and found one tire almost flat. The emergency light proved it's worth: I was able to see what I was doing, plus I felt a lot safer with some decent light around me. It took only 5 minutes for that little gem to re-inflate my tire. I said a heartfelt prayer of thanks that I'd given in to the temptation to buy it.
I HIGHLY recommend this unit to everyone...easy snap on connector, a long, long, long wire to hook up to the cigarette lighter, heavy duty hose, built in pressure gauge, automatic shut off and a bright light...all for 30 bucks. WOW! I'm buying them as presents for birthdays and Christmas. You should, too!
