Air Compressors Direct Recommended

The larger motor and larger tank are still easy to transport and store. We like the heat shroud/motor cover that keeps built-in tool storage, easy-to-read gauges, and the pressure regulator all close at hand.

Even though this unit is larger, it still has a maintenance-free pump so you won't have to worry about adding or changing the oil. This compressor still runs on a normal household outlet- no special wiring is needed.

Excellent Experience!!!
I purchased this compressor to replace the same model I had used for 13 years. A new pump would have cost more than 2/3 of a new compressor.

This newer model is quieter, gives 150psi and has many improvements.

Delivery was FAST! Two days by truck and the delivery driver was helpful and very pleasant as well.

What a GREAT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH! Highly recommended!
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Reliable, Easy To Store
Cons: Expensive, I Felt That For The Price It Could Have Included A Few Add Ons

I had the same compressor, except it was 5 H.P. Getting old at 16 yrs You have 2 use a little tape, and no leaks. Also run a little pressure in tank before closing the drain valve and you will never have a problem.

One Of The Best For The Price
Not too long ago I had an issue with my old air compressor, and decided it was time to get another one.

I was told about this one but I didn't believe it would meet my needs. Wow, was I wrong- for the price I couldn't beat it!

Never once did it lag on me during my project rebuild, it always had the right amount of airflow and never once sputtered.

Yes, I know there are bigger, better air compressors; but since I was doing this car rebuild on a budget it was by far the best choice.

Not Worth The Money And Time
I bought this unit at a store, went directly home with my new purchase and hooked every thing up. There were more air leaks on this unit than a chain link fence.

The gauges and the tank leaked. After spending an hour or so tightening every thing I could, I was able to minimize the escaping air, but I could never get the pressure up to full.

ACD RESPONDS: Some teflon pipe tape (about $1 at any hardware or grocery store) may help with the leaks. This unit has a Factory Warranty, so you... more

Amazing Air
As a college student, I took a job in the paint department at a major home improvement retailer. This was my first brush with the power of air compressors.

These machines power paint sprayers, sand blasters, and a variety of other tools.

But now that I am a college graduate, and struggling artist...I fully appreciate the power of air.

I not only maintain my vehicle and do the upkeep of my house and property, but I create magnificent sculptures and large pieces of art with my Campbell... more

Leaks
I purchased a 13-gal Campbell Hausfeld air compressor from a chain store. After a little less than a year, it started leaking air. I ordered parts for it, but after installing the parts, it continued to leak somewhat. Now, it will not run at all.

I am very disappointed in the performance of this particular product and now looking to buy another air compressor. You can bet it won't be a Campbell Hausfeld. Sorry Campbell Hausfeld, just telling it like it is.

ACD RESPONDS: It sounds like a... more
