Rain Cap Available
The muffler does have a drain hole, but you can buy a rain cap at a local tractor store.
You will have trouble starting the air compressor until you buy an oil pressure by-pass relay. I have spoken extensively to Kohler about both problems.

So far this is a great compressor.
The only 2 things I would change are:
1: This truck mounted air compressor has it's exhaust pipe sticking straight up exposing it to the rain and other elements.
2: The air filter should have come with a 90 degree street ell instead of the straight nipple so that it would be protected from the rain.
