For those in the know a Kohler engine is durable, provides long life and runs quiet. Kohler may not have the Honda name but it is certainly a value for the price.
This baby can churn out 25CFM at 175PSI. Key start with idle control to help save fuel and run quiet.
Ingersoll Rand is legendary in the air compressor industry and this model will only further that reputation. |

The muffler does have a drain hole, but you can buy a rain cap at a local tractor store.
You will have trouble starting the air compressor until you buy an oil pressure by-pass relay. I have spoken extensively to Kohler about both problems. |

So far this is a great compressor.
The only 2 things I would change are:
1: This truck mounted air compressor has it's exhaust pipe sticking straight up exposing it to the rain and other elements.
2: The air filter should have come with a 90 degree street ell instead of the straight nipple so that it would be protected from the rain.
I still would buy it again. |
