Purchased this compressor 3 years ago. Use it occasionally for filling tires, using air ratchet.
Recently, it started to trip a 20 amp breaker, so I disassembled the head of the compressor to find that one of the reeds was broken. They don't sell this cheap little part alone, so I had to pay $130.00 to buy the whole valve assembly. 3 years, little use for a machine that is supposed to be continous duty.
That brings my total cost of ownership to $ 1,011.00. I will never purchase a product from Ingersol Rand again!!!!!! |

If you're looking for a companion to join you in the garage for a decades, consider this one.
Most Ingersoll Rand products are industrial-grade units for the shop. This is one of the few products by IR designed for the garage.
ACD also sells an "Ingersoll Rand Start Up Kit" for this compressor. It contains all of the important items to keep the machine running at peak performance.
More importantly, the start up kit extends the warranty by another year. You'll need the supplies anyway. Why not get an extended warranty too? |
