 CFM vs. Maximum pressure rating

The compressor works fine, however the maximum working pressure is only 135 psi, not the listed 150 psi in the specs.

ACD RESPONDS: The “Max. Pressure” specification on air compressors is not the maximum working pressure, it is the maximum pressure the tank is rated for. It is the same for every air compressor on our site, and is based on information provided by the manufacturers.

The maximum function of each air compressor is described by the CFM (cubic feet per minute) at a specific pressure- 40 PSI, 90 PSI, and/or 100 PSI, depending on the size of the air compr... more
