This compressor is an excellent choice for light duty applications around a home garage.

I do not think it would be able to handle a 100% duty cycle; but using an Ingersoll Rand Edge series impact wrench and nail gun, as well as for various dusting and inflation duties, I have yet to really see this compressor be taxed with use. Its CFM is more than adequate for these needs and appears to be an exceptionally well built unit.

Also, my dealings with Quincy customer support while researching a compressor to purchase were phenomenal. They were very quick to answer any questions I had (even the stupid ones) and did so in a very timely manner.

FYI, this is the same as the Chicago Pneumatics RCP-226VP and BelAire 5026VP per the Quincy rep I spoke with. I chose the Quincy because of their exceptional customer service.

This is a step up from the smaller portables that I have been using.

The machine is very quiet. The pressure switch and parts are as good as I expected and much better then I had read about while researching the internet for this compressor. The bleed valve is the exception. Typical knurled thumb screw... I removed it and replaced it with a 90 degree elbow and a ball valve, which is my preferred method for clearing the moisture.

There was plenty of room under the tank to handle that. It came with oil already in the pump. It is rated right at 20 amps, 120 VAC, so make sure you use the proper wiring and outlet.

You are going to be hard pressed to find a portable compressor in this size that has the CFM that this one does. I would not hesitate in recommending this to other folks.
