It comes ready to use with adaptors and a tire chuck- just plug it in.

The pump on this unit is maintenance free (nothing to oil, no belts to tighten); and Campbell Hausfeld's national service network is standing by in case you need any help during the 1 year Factory Warranty.

So, if you need a little air compressor to top off your tires and inflate sports balls, but you don't have a lot of room for storage... this flat tank, or "pancake" style is a great choice.

Hammer Too Big- Air Power To The Rescue
One spring day last year I decided I was going to screen in my 26' long deck using 1x2's along the screen edging for a better more even hold. Everything was going good till i got to the bottom part of the screen. My Deck railing which I used the screen behind it had one more plank on it un-screened to the final edge and there is only about 6 or 7 inches under the deck where i was pulling the screen from.

Because I have to be somewhat fancy I did not want the bottom part of the screen (1x2's... more

Not Impressed
I am not impressed with this product. It is way over priced and is like having a kid's toy.
Pros: Easy To Store, Light Weight
Cons: Low Quality, Expensive

Gary,
I'm sorry you were disappointed with your purchase. Perhaps it's not the right tool for the job you have in mind.

FP2028 is a light-duty unit- it will be great for topping off your car tires to get the best gas mileage, and airing up sports balls. It will also be handy for inflating pool toys.

This little compressor was never intended to run air tools or handle inflating large equipment tires. You may want to check out our Air Compressor Buyer's Guide that will help you pick the perfect air compressor for your needs.

Too Loud To Run Inside
Bought this at a chain hardware store. The unit runs very, very, very loud!

I called Campbell Hausfeld customer service, and they said it runs at "about 90 decibels, not one of their quietest models."

You can not run it in a closed room indoors, it is deafening!

ACD RESPONDS: If a quiet air compressor is what you need, just enter "quiet" into the white search box in the top right corner of the web site- there are several models to choose from!

Too Noisy To Use
Purchased this unit 3 days ago and will be returning it my 1st chance. This unit is too loud to use in the garage without ear plugs, outside it too is loud for the neighborhood.

In spite of what customer service say's the decibel level is way over 90! It may work well and have extra adapters but if destroys your hearing and you cannot have a conversation any where near it, wha's the point?
Pros: Easy To Use, Price, Light Weight, Easy To Store
Cons: Too Loud

Good Size
Air compressor is too noisy and runs out of air too quick but, I still like it because of its size.

ACD RESPONDS: A larger air compressor would provide more air & run quieter; but in some applications the smaller size can't be beat.

Excellent Product!
I've only used it once, but it did what I wanted it to do... inflate car and motorcycle tires.

It's easy to use and doesn't require a lot of maintenance. I'm not sure yet how accurate the gauge is, but will write another review after a few more uses.

Wrong Fittings
It is impossible to hook the coil hose up as the fittings are not right. I'm taking the piece of junk back to the big box store where I bought it.

You have to turn the coiled hose which gets in the way of the motor- you can't even get it started.

ACD RESPONDS: Before you take the unit back you may want to give the folks at Campbell Hausfeld Tech Support a call, toll free, at 800-330-0712. If it turns out you are missing a connector they will be happy to send you one at no charge.

Dependable & Easy
Performed nicely over two days use stapling insulation.

Despite the enclosed space, my work environment was NOT as noisy as anticipated as the cycle time for recharge was brief and the 1 gal tank capacity for this type of work was more than adequate for many staple shots.

(Perhaps the previous reviewer did not check his lines for small leaks leading to more run time...)

Missing Part, Break-in Procedure Incomplete
1. Was unable to connect the coiled air hose to the regulator. Called Technical Assistance, there was a missing male connector that the coil air hose is connected to, that is to be inserted into the end of the regulator (female). They will send one out.

2. The Pre-Operation, Break-in Procedure is incorrect. I followed the instructions 3 times, the compressor is supposed to run for 30 minutes. It didn't, once it reach its fill capacity it shut off. Called Technical Assistance and was... more
