Q: I am looking for a good quality, ultra compact compressor to carry on my motorcycle while touring. What do you suggest? Thanks for the advice . by John Mc from Virginia on October 30, 2011
A: The Slime 4001 Power Sport is perfect for motorcylists! It is just a little larger than the palm of your hand, and everything fits into the kit.
What makes it ultra-convenient for touring are the interchangeable power cords, so you can attach the contacts to your battery and leave them accessible. When you need air, just plug the unit in, attach it to your tire, and start inflating!
It can also plug into a 12 volt outlet if you have a cigarette lighter socket; or use the alligator clips to attach to someone else's battery to save the day. by Steve, Product Expert
Q: Steve, I would like a small tire air compressor to stow in my saddle bag of my Harley streetglide MC. I have a lighter/receptacle plug-in on the bike. Can I use any of the 12 volt mini air compressors that I have found on-line? any suggestions? by Rik DiVesare from North Carolina on October 29, 2011
A: Any of the 12-volt mini units will work, you just have to find room to store the unit while you travel.
We just added a unit that is perfect for motorcyclists: Slime Power Sport Inflator. It fits all it's part in a case just a little bigger than your hand.
The part that makes it perfect is the set of leads that can be attached to your battery and left on. Then just take out the unit, plug in the cord, and top off your tires- leaving your cigarette lighter receptacle free for other things. by Steve, Product Expert
