Q: Can you inflate tires while the Wagan2450 is plugged into a 12v power supply? How long is the cord? We have a 24ft RV, our current inflator cannot reach the rear tires. The SLIME cordless compressor can inflate while plugged into 12 v- how long is that cord? by Mike Burke from Florida on November 07, 2011
A: I'm sorry, but none of the inflator-class units are powerful enough to handle RV tires. They are meant for cars, bikes, ATVs, sports balls and pool toys.
I always have flats (slow leaks) on my '99 Cadillac.
Every time I take it to be repaired, the repairman tells me that the rims are flaking up, causing the tire leaks.
I don't drive the Cadillac every day, so I usually don't notice the low tires in time.
I decided that until I get a new set of rims, I'm going to need an air compressor.
I was eagerly awaiting for my order to arrive so I could inflate my tires. The inflator works great. It's light, compact and inflated my tires in about 6 min.
