How loudly does the compressor run? Some sort of decibel rating would be great.

Re the Rolair VT25BIG. I blow out home plumbing systems when winterizing and want to know if I can plug this compressor into an outlet served by a 15 amp breaker and not have it trip the breaker.
Thanks

Answer
This unit is rated as 13.8 amps, so it should be fine on a 15 amp circuit as long as it's the only thing pulling power through that circuit.
If the homeowner is running other appliances on the same circuit it could pop the breaker.
