The compressor has the volume for all your professional needs. We use it with a10 ton air jack and it gets up good. For the size, it is relatively quiet compared to our old IR.

We placed the order in January and were aware that as a custom order, PED could not guarantee a delivery date. However, we were still surprised that we did not receive the air compressor until April 1. And then, when it finally arrived, it was damaged.
One of our representatives will be contacting PED to determine the best way to rectify this. I am reluctant to order from this company again, but we'll see how they handle the problem and re-evaluate. Because we cannot use it due to the damage, I am rating 1 star rather than "have not used."

This is a great air compressor. It is quiet for being such a big air compressor, and will handle any type of air tools. The 120 gallon tank keeps it from starting up too often.
I have bought a lot of air compressors, and this is the best I have bought. It look really strong. It's the only air compressor with a 10 hp motor that runs on single phase. Most air compressors, after 7.5 hp, went to 3 phase.

This is a beast!! We run it every day all day long from running a 6 X 10 plasma table to full on welding and painting shop and run it all of of this one compressor!!
I done a lot of shopping and glad I found this one. I'm more proud that everything on it is made in USA!!!!

My new compressor was shipped on a Friday and arrived here the next Tuesday morning in northern Maine, in excellent condition. I got it off the pickup with my tractor and into place with an engine lift. I used anchor bolts and rubber pads to secure it to the floor.
I installed a combination water filter/regulator while my son wired it up. He threw the switch and it fired right up stopping at 150 PSI. It's a beautiful looking piece of equipment and the operating noise is very tolerable.
The unit has no trouble powering my sandblasting cabinet or my outdoor blaster. I really like the automatic drain feature. I am looking forward to many years of John Deere tractor restorations

I had done a lot of research and decided on the EMAX 10 hp with a 120 gal. tank (I was tired of running out of air in the middle of sandblasting, painting,etc.).
I am very impressed with the low noise level and quality of this compressor. It is everything they said it was and more. I wired it, mounted it to the floor, and turned it on- a very simple process.
I would highly recommend this compressor to others.
