We need a compressor that would help do a big job and so we ordered this monster of a machine and it has not disappointed at all. Best running machine we have ever ordered!

Purchased the 460 volt version of compressor to use in a 3 bay school bus shop. We plumbed it into an auxillary 120 gallon air tank for a total volume of 240 gallons. This compressor only needs to cycle for 1:37 seconds to recover from 145psi where it turns on to 175 psi where it turns off.
Keep in mind we have doubled the air tank size by adding an additional tank to the included 120 gallon tank. Unit arrived in perfect condition and was crated well. Fit and finish are excellent. Have been using daily for two weeks so far and zero problems.
Has no problem keeping up with 3 techs using air tools at same time.

I purchased this for my wood shop because we were running out of air with 3 guys running DA sanders.
The only things I can complain about are that the website says the compressor ran at 40 amps with the 460 volt model, and required an 80 amp breaker. The motor on the unit said 17 amps. So the wire we ran was way over sized and wouldn't even fit in the connections for the power supply. Money and time was wasted.
The second thing is that the crating for the compressor was tore up pretty decently when the unit arrived and was left to slide around in the back of the Freight Courier. The unit was not damaged, thankfully. Just not what you want to see with a $4,500 purchase.
As for the actual compressor, we have 4 Quincy compressors in our wood and metal shops. Ranging in size and age. Our oldest is a 1966 model "The Beast". Great compressors, great quality. They do what they are meant to do for a long time. We do purchase the Quincy maintenance kits and change oil and air filters regularly as per manufacturer. Made in the USA! Keep that money at home.
