A: Yes, the inflator can be operated & charged from a 12V outlet, but only charged by the 120V adaptor. by Steve, Product Expert

This unit won our top spot because of it's versatility. Plug it into the wall, or your car's cigarette lighter socket- either way works to fill car tires, rafts, & sports equipment.
Plus, it also has a DC output that can charge your cell phone or lap top- handy while on the road or during an outage.
Add in the built-in gauge so you don't need a separate tire gauge, and you have a useful multi-tasker at a great price.

No more Quarters!
We are always looking for stations with "AIR" and Quarters. This is perfect when we get the tire message of the newer vehicles or before we take off on a trip takes 10 minutes and the tires are perfect.
We also use it for our bikes instead of manually filling those tires.
We should have bought this long ago!

Worked great- hope it continues
I charged the unit as stated in the manual and it worked great. I put air in my golf cart tires, bike tires, and topped off my car tires. After that, the yellow light was on and I charged it again for 10 hrs. I'll have to wait til it's needed again and hope it continues working as well as the first time.

So far, the best
So far it's the best portable compressor I have owned.
I have used it for air shocks, topping off tires, ( not having to go to a gas station is nice ! ) my wheel barrow, etc. Then one morning I had a flat, and in 12 minutes the tire was full.
I would say its worth the money. It does the job.

I have the same model that I bought several years ago. The reason I bought a new one, is because the battery went bad.
After I ordered a new one, I found out who sold the battery. I bought a new battery and now I have two fine compressors.
I may give one to my brother.

Great product
Purchased this a few months ago just to use it to top my tires off..... I had another one (not this brand) that I had left in my summer home, so I was in need of another compressor...
Well, this little baby tops off my tires in no time at all! My other one took forever to put air in.
I am sure it has many other uses, but this is what I generally use it for, great product!

It works GREAT
I purchased this same compressor six years ago, but was made by a different manufacturer at the time.
Following the directions, which included recharging the unit at least every 3 months, I had a perfectly running compressor.
Two months ago, I loaned my unit to a neighbor that must have run the compressor too long and plugged in to D.C. while running. It was returned to me dead.
I was so happy to see that the same compressor was still available. Slime had purchased the previous owner, but other then the name plate change and a added chrome plate on the side, I have my compressor back.
I will never loan it out with out without my hands-on supervision, as I plan on having this one for 20 years.
P.S. My original compressor came with a chart to write recharging dates which was a great touch. Sorry SLIME doesn't do it.

SLIME rechargeable compressor = AWESOME
I've had a smaller rechargeable unit for several years now, and it finally quite working. After a search I decided to make the SLIME unit my new choice....WOW!
Night & day difference from my old unit, much faster inflation time, quick charging unit and easy to take with you. I had thought about a larger unit but wanted something I could take on trips in the vehicle, PERFECT unit for such occasions.
Air Compressors Direct had the unit on my front porch in a matter of 3 days. Couldn't ask for a better compressor or a better company to buy from.
This is one great little compresser. Have a big compresser in my shop and wanted a little portable compresser to have in my camper, to do camper tires along with boat trailer tires when on the river.
This compresser is the right size and weight for the above.
Shipping service was great.
