Great Compressor!!!

One of the Best Buy's on the market.

My last C-Aire was almost thirty years old and was just starting to get a little tired. I would not even think about buying another brand.

This is way more then I'll ever need for a home shop.

Very Happy So Far!

I had a 2 year old Puma 80 gal, 2 stage, 14.5 CFM @ 175psi that I bought from these guys. Great compressor for a great price but kinda loud and ran a long time to get back up to shut off pressure.

Then I "acquired" some old tractors and decided it made sense to purchase my own pressurized sandblaster. Manufacturer claimed it needed 7 to 10 CFM. YEAH RIGHT!!! Double or even triple that depending on orifice used!! So I needed a bigger compressor, did a LOT of research and the C-Air units just kept coming up with 5 star ratings across the board, especially with customer service. The similar sized Ingersoll Rand and Quincy units were 50/50 with many low customer service ratings and complaints on how loud they were. This C-Air wasn't the lowest priced but had better ratings, lower RPM, quieter, and significantly longer pump warranty.

I haven't used it with the sandblaster yet, but at 24CFM @ 175psi it should keep up nicely. It just chugs along nice and quiet with less vibration, refills very quickly and the fit and finish is outstanding. Plus that beautiful orange color! The rep at Air Compressors Direct was very helpful and definitely steered me in the right direction.

My only complaint was that it was shipped to a 3rd party trucking warehouse with no outside access, so they had to lift it by chain with a forklift and lower it off the dock into my PU truck. Luckily the warehouse guys were very helpful and with 4 of us we got it done. In hindsight I should have just spent the $75 to have it delivered by lift gate truck to my house and not been such a cheapskate.

I also purchased an auto drain unit and wired it into the magnetic starter so it blows for 4 seconds every time the compressor kicks on, works great!

My next project is to hang an automobile air-conditioning coil in front of the massive compressor fan to cool the air going into the tank to further reduce moisture.

I got the compressor shipped from the manufacturer, and it was here in days - very fast. It was damaged in shipping, so I called the shipping company, got a claims form, sent it to the manufacturer, and got the parts in 4 days.

It was just the pulley cage and one air filter. The compressor works great, and is pretty quiet with the low RPM's. Massive air delivery.

Beware of this company's fine print . Make sure you allow enought down time so there procrastination doesn't sink your business

C-Aire nice Compressor

I had a borrowed two stage Ingersoll Rand compressor in my garage. I bought my own C-Aire. C-Aire is a much quieter compressor with less vibration.

There was minor damage from transport to the air filter housings. I emailed C-Aire and three days later there was two filter housings on my door step. Thanks C-Aire.

Best I have owned!!

This air compressor is hands down real American quality and this thing is very quiet- you don't have to yell to talk over it.

There is nothing cheap about this and when I drain the tank at night and start it back up it might take 6-7 min to fill, if that !!

I was going to purchase an Ingersoll Rand but I'm glad I changed my mind!
