Not Happy

This air compressor may be a good one but I have yet to find out thanks to the Puma QC process. After owning this compressor for 4 weeks I've been tripping breakers and trying to figure out why. Finally had to hire an electrician to come wire it up for me. That's when he noticed that the the pre-wired portion of my compressor was completely wrong! I'm not happy with the fact that I apparently had it wired correctly from day one however Puma had all their portion wired wrong. Screws were left loose, some screws were missing, had to pay for an electrician and now I have to replace the pressure switch because Puma had the 2 hot wires meeting up and it melted! Ugh! Anyway I'm unhappy and I think I should be compensated for all the hassle and delay. Plus now I have to buy a new switch!

I have owned several Puma compressors. They were all single stage. I use them restoring my old cars. I ran 2 single stage that I would run simultaneously to sandblast, The only problem was the compressors didn't turn back on until the pressure reached 90 PSI.

I bought the 2 stage and I set the regulator at 105 psi and this allows my sandblasting to go faster.

The pump is imported but the motor is made in USA. Most compressors of any brand have import pumps at this price range.
