More Than A Decade Of Use

I have used this in the garage shop for well over a decade. It has never been a problem for small jobs. It is limited in it's capacity and it is 82 db rated (loud). For tires, it requires a tank a tire, so refill time for multiple tires extends work- but that is true for any compressor this volume and HP.

Worked for 2 years with very lite tire inflation duty only. Well maintained, but ceased to build pressure above 35 lbs after 2 years.
Now its useless, more expensive to repair then it's worth and needs to be replaced.

I purchased this recently at Sears in Anchorage, Alaska. I was really looking forward to using this to fill my tires, since no local gas stations provide air for tires any more.
I read the reviews and they were mixed, 3/4 were 4 or more stars, and 1/4 were 2 stars or less. One common comment in the low rated reviews, was that the unit had been returned earlier for one reason or another and the new purchaser bought the returned unit, thinking it was new. That was the case for me.
It was obvious from what was already installed on the compressor that it was not new, and the box was taped to look like new. The unit didn't work, so I returned it. I asked to speak to a manager and no manager appeared after frequent pages. I wanted to express my disgust with Sears policy of putting anything on the shelf and no one working there seems to care if they lose business.
This did it for me, I will never shop at Sears again.
