This Emax compressor is a beast I sandblasted with it on a regular basis. I ordered the one that laid down but they ship me the one that stands up. I did not receive any manual book with it. And were the glass bubbles at that shows you your oil level leaks tried tightening it up a little bit but still leaks. Other than that it does a great job.

We haven't had any mfg. issues with this compressor & we've combed thru the machine for leaks loosefasteners, etc. in the end we put a compressor controller to manage fan control, unloader valve, & condensate drainage. End result the compressor has so much output it builds few psi in the tank before the controller even closes the unloader valve!!! That's a brute of a compressor & we like it

I got this product a year ago and at the time my only issue was the paint job...they did not even get the primer covered on the bottom side. Now a year later the compressor head started leaking oil, it seems to be a casting issue around the seal. Covered under warranty, but I had to pay another $170 for shipping to get another compressor head, plus I need to tear apart and replace it. Maybe I am just the unlucky one, but no other issues so far and I have liked the features. Just wish for the money I spent it would have been a bit of a better experience.

Compressor works just fine and keeps up with my needs. The paint job sucks though they did not even get a decent coat of paint on the bottom side of the tank.

This compressor does everything they say it will. Only thing we noticed is the 1" copper pipe on the left side of the compressor still gets extremely hot after 2 or 3 back to back cycles.
We still put ours in a separate room from our shop (8'x16') and you can't quite have a conversation beside it but it is quieter than any other standard reciprocating compressor that we have been around.
Everything looks and works great when it is new but give it a couple of years of work and then we will see how nice it is! So far so good!
