Ingersoll Rand FA75IG Reviews & Ratings
The Ingersoll Rand 250 PSI 1.0 Micron General Purpose Compressed Air Filter is designed for particle (coalesced liquid, water and oil) removal down to 1 micron in size. For comparison, a human hair can range from about 20 to 50 microns in diameter. The No-Touch filter element is easily changed & is good for up to a year The patented dual Indicator lets you know when to change the element for most efficient operation. The all-aluminum die-cast body with a proprietary coating inside & out protects against corrosion. The industrial grade brass float drain is more reliable than lower quality plastic drains Just choose the size that is equal or larger than the airflow, CFM, of your air compressor.

This is an expensive filter. And honestly, the unit is working so well, I've yet to see anything caught by this filter. But, I attribute that to the efficiency of the unit, not in any failure of this filter. It seems very good quality. Very easy to service.

The airflow dials do nothing won't register or it's defective. Did not come with instructions. I hope it traps water at least.

So initial thoughts... When I first purchased this item, I thought it would be about the same quality as some of the off the shelf filters except a lot pricier. When I took it out of the box I thought WOW! This thing is BEEF! Ok, so I see where the price is. It's built QUALITY! I use it in between my compressor aftercooler and tank to try to get the moisture out before it hits the tank. I'd say it gets about 60% out before the tank. Great improvement but not perfect. I also like the built gauge that tells you when you to replace the filter element. For price and quality, you should definitely think about adding this to your system.

I mean this filter is PERFECT.
I hooked it to my New Quincy compressor and its the first time in my career I have never seen moisture in compressed air. You can not see anything- NO Water, No Oil... nothing.
I could not be any HAPPIER with it.
