Motor Starter Cap Failure After 3 Months New

The Starter Cap on the Motor went out about 3 months after it was installed and used. I went to my local Electric motor Starter cap supplier and got one that fit the specs on the motor plate and it works fine again. Overall took me about an hour to troubleshoot diagnose and replace the part. 2 hours running around to stores searching for the part and 40 dollars for the part. I didn't bother with trying to send a warranty claim due to the fact that I don't have the time to deal with it, but have to get my plant up and running again.

Compressor seemed to be built with good quality components but failed on me in less than a month of use. I purchased the single phase unit and the motor had a failure and has to now be replaced. Definitely not what you would expect from a 5 thousand dollar unit.

This air compressor is excellent. Operation is simple and provides good quality air. It would be nice to vary the auto drain time interval.
This is about half as loud as my old 5hp piston compressor. As a note, this compressor does come with oil already topped off.
