Joseph P.
from Pennsylvania
September 14, 2019

In the product manual on page 7, they recommend SAE10-30W non-detergent pump oil. They do not list a specific capacity, just to keep the oil level between the "up" and "low" level on the oil stick.

What is the duty cycle for the pk6060v model?
Tim
from California
June 02, 2016
Answer
Puma, like most manufacturers, does not state the duty cycle of their compressors, but a 50% duty cycle is common for most consumer grade compressors.
We recommend sizing the compressor 1.25-1.5 times the CFM of your tool for continuous operation. If the compressor does not produce enough air volume, CFM, then the pressure will drop.
Reciprocating (Piston) compressors are not designed for continuous or 100% duty cycle. The compressor will cycle off & on if it is sized correctly.

Hi steve can I use sch 40 pvc pipe to feed air from the compressor to the wall outlets or do I need to use copper or galv pipe?
Frank Kirk
from Washington
April 18, 2014
Answer
PVC pipe is not recommended because serious injury can occur should the PVC pipe fail when under pressure. We recommend copper, galvanized steel pipe or the RapidAir system. Here's the link:
