Company Does Not Stand Behind Their Products
By Andrew M.

Seal on the compressor went bad and leaked. Unable to get a replacement or even a new pump. The company stopped selling repair parts so now I have to throw away an easily repairable and perfectly good compressor and buy a new one. Company showed no concern over it and didn't even offer a discount on a new one. Would not purchase a Campbell Hausfeld ever again!

Its a good machine, but I don't know if its the best or greatest compressor ever, or if its the envy of the free world, but it is good.

It is as slow putting air in a tire as the little cheat cigarette lighter compressors. This thing sucks. The screeching it makes while running is almost unbearable. Waste of money.

This unit has a 1-year Factory Warranty from Campbell Hausfeld. I didn't see where you purchased your compressor from us, but if it's still within the warranty period you may want to give them a call at 1-800-543-5400. They will be able to help you resolve any problems.
Please be sure to have the serial number of your compressor handy when you call Campbell Hausfeld; they will ask for it.

After my professional got a hole in one of the tanks, I bought this toy, it has a hard time putting air in a tire! When set at 40psi this piece of equipment would not bring me back, like my first compressor did.
Don't know if it will be able to keep up with my nailing---will find out. If you are a light DIY this unit may work for you. I should have purchased something else.

The CFM rating for every compressor we sell is listed under the Specs tab on each page. You need to match the CFM of your air compressor to the tools you will be using and allow a little 'headroom" in the compressor CFM.
This unit is rated at 0.8 CFM at 90 PSI so it is only suited for lightweight stapling & nailing, inflating tires (you will need to turn it up to full pressure), crafts, and sports balls.
You may find our How To Pick The Perfect Air Compressor article helpful when choosing your next compressor.

Manufacturer Response
Herb, we are sorry our FP209599AV didn't meet your expectations. It is, indeed, a light duty compressor to be used for inflation or light duty stapling/brad nailing. For repetitive nailing or for anything more than light duty inflation or nailing/stapling, we recommend our HL5402 twin stack model. This has over 4X the CFM and can be used for serious nailing/stapling applications.

Great little compressor, weak warranty

Used it on my sister's living room putting down shoe molding and quarter round stock. Then haven't used it since. Went to use it on my own wood project and compressor never cut off until the safety valve popped open. Now I guess I will order a pressure switch so I can continue to use it or scrap it.

It is impossible to get to a service station from where I live. I found a good low price and it came with all the attachments that I need. so the compressor I bought is a terrific value.

Good for homeowner...not a pro

The small size is great for small projects. It's easy to use, and I have not had issues with hardware.
The combo nailer/stapler is good but not a professional model (not the same as the Campbell Hausfeld 18 gauge nailer/stapler you can buy separately, obviously this is a cheaper version made just for this package).
I bought a Campbell Hausfeld inflator years ago and found it to be solid and reliable; I expect the same from this. The small tank limits the range of the tools you can use (you're not going to be able to paint a house with a large paint sprayer, but it will easily run an airbrush or small sprayer) but it will handle most nailers/staplers.
Again, this is NOT a professional model and won't support the running of multiple tools simultaneously; but if you are doing some simple remodeling or finish carpentry this is a great deal to pull out on the weekends, then tuck away in the garage.

Sure bet for small jobs

I bought it to do small jobs around the house. It performs just like it says it will.
I'm not a fan of the coiled hose but it is easy to replace. If you are looking for a work horse this is not it.
If you have small jobs around the house it a sure bet. Do NOT get an electric brad nailer.
