This is a great compressor, it is just the right size for my needs. I was using my die grinder and this never ran out of air. And it is so quiet that you can hear someone talk to you.

Would I recommend it? I don't know. First one arrived (drop shipped) with a bad weld in the tank and wouldn't build pressure. Really? Not tested before leaving assembly? PED made it right and had a replacement shipped in a timely manner.

A Good-performing Air Compressor For The Price.

After much research, I went for this model because it closely matched the specs on my Craftsman 240v 20 Gallon 2 HP twin that I bought when I was 17. (The tank rotted out and the pump is making "funny" noises. (I'm 64 now!)
The Dewalt is much quieter. It is also 120 volts. The pipe ports are 1/4" as opposed to my old one at 3/8", but I don't notice a difference in the output. This one also runs up and shuts off at 200 PSI as opposed to my old one shutting off at 150 PSI.
Overall, the construction is better, especially the pump as it is cast iron and the old one was aluminum. The main thing I don't like is cosmetic as the belt guard is resonating when it runs. I can stop it (the shaking) by just putting my hand on it, so it looks like I need to make a stiffener bracket as the guard only has one in the middle. I'll know more in a year or two after I use it "hard" a few times, but I believe it is definitely better (and quieter) than the one I replaced. I would recommend this product to my friends.

Break-in was a snap and the compressor runs nice and quiet. So far, it is everything I was looking for. It replaced an oil-less Campbell Hausfeld that had gotten extremely noisy and has been a blessing.
Yes, I would recommend this to others looking for a good compressor.
Also, I would highly recommend ordering the extended tank drain hose and valve.

The switch and motor are rated for 240 Volts but nowhere on the compressor motor, on the compressor or in the compressor manual is information on how to change from 120 to 240 volts.
How could DeWalt miss such a big oversight? Hopefully, this is not an indication that the DeWalt name no longer means Quality.
