I had never heard of Emax before I started looking for a compressor to replace my 43 year old Kellog American. Kellog was bought out, so I could not get the same machine again. I am very picky. I researched everything before settling on Emax. I liked the option for the positive pressure pump. It even has a gauge for the oil pressure. It is set up to be easy to maintain, which is awesome. I love the easy to adjust belt tensioner also. The thing that tipped me over the edge was the fact that the salesman at the independent distributor said they had the greatest customer service. It was also nice to get a positive pressure oil pump in the same price range as the other brands that came with just a splash setup.
I got the compressor and am very happy with it. It is solidly built and is set up to keep going long term. Not just a throwaway like other things these days.
Plus, I had a chance to check out their customer service. There was a slight amount of shipping damage on the silencer when I first got it. They answered the first time I called, and that was the only (brief might I say) phone call, and they had it resolved immediately.
On the farm and at renegadesolutionscompany.com, we expect the most from our tools. We are impressed with our Emax air compressor.
