I had a low tire and I have a very old compressor for this. My grand daughter, seeing this, wanted to try it so I showed her how and it took a long time to inflate the tire. Just getting a new car she wanted to get a compressor to keep in her trunk.
I went online and found this COMP05 compressor and ordered it as a gift for her. She was so excited to get it she went around inflating all the tires that looked low on her friends cars and keeps it in her trunk. Her quote: "Grams, this is the best gift ever!!"

Do Not Buy, Waste of Money!

Hello, this slime pump could not be worse, it really could not. (1) For one, the sound is so loud you could probably hear it from 1000+ feet away. (2) Two, the pressure Gauge is not accurate to within 5 psi. (3) Three, expect it to shake a lot, so much so it does not stay in place, it kind of just wonders around the floor, making it somewhat necessary to hold. (4) Four, it takes forever to pump a car tire. From personal experience, it takes probably 10 minutes to get the pressure from 30 to 36. (5) Five, expect it to reliable break time and time again.
Something I've realized recently is that this is the fourth pump from Slime that has broken. Of the four pumps I got, two were electric and two were manual and all of them resulted in the same broken state in a matter of months. The manual pumps on their boxes had the slime logo all over them in big letters, but the actual pump did not. That's real logically if you think about it, if it breaks a customer does not typically have the box, only the unmarked pump. Also, the two electric pumps both coincidentally lost their stickers. In conclusion, DO NOT BUY ANY SLIME PUMPS.

Slime puts a 1 year Factory Warranty on their products. Factory Warranties cover defects in materials & workmanship. If there is a problem with a Slime inflator, just give them a call, toll free, at (888) 457-5463 with the serial number of the unit- they are very good about sending out a replacement.
They usually don't need the box, and if they ask for a proof of purchase (a receipt), as long as you bought it from us just click on My Account in the upper right corner of our website and follow the prompts to print one out.
A word about inflators- they are not air compressors. They are meant for light duty, topping off an already inflated tire. They are not meant to inflate a tire from scratch, nor are they meant for oversize tires on big trucks and RVs.
If you have precise or repetitive inflation needs, you should be using a real air compressor and a quality tire gauge.

The ignition switch must be turned on to the left ( car not running) for product to work. thank God I called the 888# help number because at first the product didn't work for me either....
After I called the Help Desk the person who answered asked me if I had done this, of course I read DO NOT RUN ENGINE- but once I went back down to my car and tried it again it worked like a CHARM!

I wanted to return this item because of the quality. I found out that it would cost me almost as much as I paid for it.
The restocking fee is 25% and they will also charge me for the FREE shipping if I returned it.
The product did not look that it would last long and I was right. It did not even work.
The customer service stinks at AIR COMPRESSORS DIRECT I would not recommend this product or this distributor.

Please call them; they will troubleshoot the situation with you, and replace the unit if the problem is due to a defect in materials or workmanship. They may also authorize a return for full credit- but that is something we need to coordinate with the folks at Slime, since it's their product.
Every delivery company charges a fee to bring a package to your door. "Free Shipping" means that the merchant has absorbed the cost of shipping the product to you, and will pay for it out of the profit on your item. If you return the unit there is no profit, but the shipping still needs to be paid.
