Product QuestionsAnswered by Joshua, the Air Compressor Expert
Steve, Good morning. in the 12 volt consumer inflator category why do you recommend the Slime 2x over the Viair 85?
This is for a car with 18 " wheels and no spare tire. I currently have one of the low end SLIME kits but the inflator that comes with it has me worried it would fail before the job was done in an emergency.

Answer
We recommended the Slime 2X because it is a twin piston inflator designed for faster inflation than a single piston model. Be aware that the Slime must be connected directly to the battery. It cannot be powered from a 12V cigarette/accessory socket.
