    Didn't last at all

I used this compressor to inflate tires (auto, bike) and then only about 2 dozen times or so over a period of around 2 years. It then stopped building pressure and the parts to fix it cost more than the unit itself.

    It's a cheap, useless, Bic-lighter disposable product.

I just purchased a Coleman 2 gal air compressor and the chuck used to inflate tires didn't allow air into the tire. After several attempts I purchased a chuck [Camel brand] at an auto parts store and it immediately functioned as it should. The chuck supplied with the compressor has a rubber "ring" around the needle which possibly prevents the chuck needle from entering far enough to engage the valve needle and permit air flow? No clue if that's the answer?

I'd suggest Coleman quality assurance [ or whomever] should test this chuck and supply one that functions. It should be a simple remedy. Aside from this the compressor appears to function as it should.
