Unit is made in Brazil (better than China, but not as good as USA). The biggest disappointment with this unit is the wheels they develop "flat spots" overnight and they don't go away when you roll the unit around you simply add more flat-spots. My unit had a air-leak which required me to disassemble the heat-unit (disconnect electrical connections, remove gauges, etc.) add teflon tape to all connections, and then re-install, tightening a full turn further on the brass stem than how it came from the factory. No more leaks.

The protective cage was a bit noisy so I secured it together with some cable ties. Otherwise a great product.

Discharge line from compressor to tank was loose on BOTH ends. Two air leaks. I had to really tighten the heck out of the fittings to get the leaks to stop. Tank drain is not in the lowest point on the tank. It is off to one side. I think this is poor design.

I had to wait 6 weeks for delivery because of COVID. I also could not get a direct answer on the motor Amp draw. Not from Air Compressor Direct nor Quincy. This info is NOT listed on the Motor so I took amp probe readings. This 2 HP motor draws 18.5 amps at start up and runs steady state at 14.5 amps. I am going to use a 20 amp line to power mine.

This compressor works fine but it has a leak around the compressor head that leaks oil when it is running, it was like that the first time I started it.

I thought I was buying an American made item. I placed my order and when I received my compressor today the box and compressor, and everything on the compressor is made in CHINA!! compressor seems to be doing ok but worried and reliably because it's made in CHINA
Same thing as going to one of the big box stores and buying one of theirs made in CHINA!! But for a couple of hundred dollars less.
I would return the compressor if I wouldn't have to pay return shipping!!
